Croatia breaks tourism records

As a travel destination, Croatia is attracting more travelers these days and Croatia Flights costs have also been more affordable. Low cost flights have also made the city of Dubrovnik more affordable. In 2012, till now, a record number of tourists have visited the city. The Dubrovnik airport received around one and a half million passengers in the first ten months alone and the number is far more compared to 2011.

Dubrovnik has always drawn in people from across the glove; whether it they are artists, traders, travelers and in turn they have got memories to live with forever. The city is also popular for foods.
Near the old city’s entrance, there is a place called Nautika, which is considered by many as the most prestigious and most attractive restaurant place in the country. The place is known for their seafood specialties.

The terrace offers a grand view of the sea as well as the Bokar and Lovrijenac fortresses.
There is another restaurant called Proto, which was founded in 1886 and was renovated in the year 2002, is located in the Dubrovnik old town. They have a tradition of making traditional fish dishes. Apart from foods, this place is also known for its wines. This city serves some of the top quality wines found in Europe.

The city of Dubrovnik dates back to 15th century and the old city walls still attracts travelers providing a feeling of traveling back in time. Walking through the old streets, you can indulge yourself in ice cream.
